Design Patterns

A pattern is a proven solution to a problem in a context.
Christopher Alexander says each pattern is a three-part rule which expresses a relation between a certain context, a problem, and a solution.
Design patterns represent a solutions to problems that arise when developing software within a particular context.
i.e Patterns = problems.solution pairs in a context

Enhancing Students Critical Thinking Skills

Critical thinking is a form of problem solving, but a major difference between the two is that critical thinking involves reasoning about open-ended or “ill-structured” problems, while problem solving is usually considered narrower in scope. Thus, in critical thinking, the goal is not to find and execute a solution but to construct a plausible representation of the situation or issue that could be presented in a ....etc

Thinking Process (TP)

The thinking processes are generic tools to help people walk through a buy-in process. They are also useful tools for any kind of human interactions. The buy-in process has the following steps (see levels of resistance):

1. Gain agreement on the problem 2. Gain agreement on the direction for a solution 3. Gain agreement that the solution solves the problem 4. Agree to overcome any potential negative ramifications 5. Agree to overcome any obstacles to implementation

The t ....etc

Integrating Structural Design and Formal Methods in RealTime System Design

Formal methods have been advocated as one of those techniques that can produce highquality software and hardware systems that has been demonstrated to come in ontime, within budget, and satisfy procurer requirements. They are, however, perceived to be difficult to use and unsuitable for presentation to nonspecialists. In addition, they have been criticized for paying too little attention to the system development process.

Common Emitter BJT Amplifier Design Current Mirror Design

Some Random Observations
● Conditions for stabilized voltage source biasing
● Emitter resistance, RE, is needed.
● Base voltage source will have finite resistance, RB.
● needs to be much larger than RB.
● Small RB - relative to RS - will attenuate input signal.
● Larger RE permits larger RB, but results in lower gain.
● Gain = -RC/RE for RE >> re.
● Split RE with bypassing increa ....etc

ABSTRACT
Many system-on-chip (SoC) integrated circuits contain embedded cores with different scan frequencies. To better meet the test requirements for such heterogeneous SoCs, leading tester companies have recently introduced port-scalable testers, and Many IP core design software like Xilinx, Leonardo Spectrum, and Modelsim etc which can used to design ip core like DMA ,Interrupt Controller etc .These Ip core can be Power aware an Implement on soc by choosing different design tech ....etc

THINKING MACHINE MEMRISTOR
INTRODUCTION

Memristor is a contraction of “memory resistor,” because that is exactly its function: to remember its history.
A Memristor is a two-terminal device whose resistance depends on the magnitude and polarity of the voltage applied to it and the length of time that voltage has been applied.
WHAT IS IT?
 The world’s smallest memristive switch.
-(50 x 50 nanometers)
 Information storage devic ....etc
