In this type of reactor, a fluid (gas or liquid) is passed through a granular solid material (usually a catalyst possibly shaped as tiny spheres) at high enough velocities to suspend the solid and cause it to behave as though it were a fluid. Sir we want to design fludised bed reactor of 2100x 2100 mm size. Height of bed must be min 900mm. 500 Kg/hr Rice Husk is to fed via suspension firing from 1600 cfm blower. The 1 od with 1.5 center to center distance tubes are placed in bed for heat transfer. 0.6 Gcal is to be extracted from bed.
