This seminar will review the state of the art of active control of gas turbine combustors processes. The seminar will first discuss recently developed approaches for active control of detrimental combustion instabilities by use of 'fast' injectors that modulate the fuel injection rate at the frequency of the instability and appropriate phase and gain. Rijke tube is an instrument which shows thermo acoustics phenomena: Rijke tube is simply a cylindrical tube with lot ends open and heat source placed in it. Thermo acoustics refers is the creation of sound in a device due to the transfer of energy from a thermal source to acoustic waves set up in the device.

ABSTRACT
This paper brings out the significance of fluidized combustion technology. The atmospheric as well as pressurized fluidized bed
combustion is discussed. Development of fluidized bed boilers and
their present status in the fluidized combustion technology is also
presented. Fluidized combustion technology is the superior one when
compared with other combustion technologies present in India today.

This work presents the development of a simple analytical model of performance for heavy duty gas turbine
combustors and its use for the analysis of main emissions for a set of syngas fuels. This set of syngas fuels has
