Abstract
This paper proposes a novel adaptive pseudo-carry compensation truncation (PCT) scheme, which is derived for the multiplexer basedarray multiplier. The proposed method yields low average error among existingtruncation methods. The Ping of Death uses a ping system utility to create an IP packet that exceeds the maximum 65,536 bytes of data allowed by the IP specification.
