Linux Virtual Server is a high-performance and highly scalable server built on a cluster of real servers. The architecture of the cluster is transparent to end-users. End users only see a single virtual server. The front-end before the real servers is a load balancer, which schedules requests to the different servers and make parallel services of the cluster to appear as a virtual service on a single IP address. the main goal of our project is to build a DNS server which supports IPv6 name resolution. This has been achieved by
configuring the server which has provision of complete support for both IPv4 and IPv6 in hosts and routers. The method of encapsulation of IPv6 packets within IPv4 headers over IPv4 network, simply called as IPv6 over IPv4 is used.
