ABSTRACT
When objects move through air, forces are generated by the relative motion between the air and surfaces of the object. The overall goal of the work presented in this thesis is to extend the physical understanding of the external aerodynamics associated with the rotating case of Hovering Rotor using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) technique.
Rotating blades encounter tip vortices coming from preceding blades, which results in Blade Vortex Interaction(BVI) responsible for producing dynamic effects. Understanding the complex flow field due to this dynamic effects produced by wakes is therefore very important for the prediction of effects such as blad ....etc

There are 2 concepts of aerodynamics used in F1. one is called Drag Force.
It is the air flow that would go through opposite direction to moving object. Therefore, the reducing of the drag force result in increase of the speed.
Drag force can be calculated by using the equation F=½CADν², where C= coefficient of drag, that depends on the shape; A= frontal area (the area that would be in contact with the air); D= density of the air; v= ....etc

Problems with varying degrees of complexities can now be easily solved with the help of appropriately written CFD codes.
