Sir,i would like to get a ppt on street light control using gsm where time is set and a message is sent to turn on and off the lights thus reducing the man power and preventing wastage of power.Again we are using ldr sensors to detect if there is any fault in the bulbs and light glows automatically sensing day or night in auto mode...............etc

Abstract
The task of this project works with AC 230V, 50Hz power supply. The AC 230V converted into DC and the output of 12V DC source fed to the load via R1, R2, R3 and PT100 thermostat. The entire module performs by the logic gates of Thermostat and LDR. Particularly the module works whenever the instructions to be followed by the Industries according to the power sector rules. Light dependent resistor(LDR), also called as Cadmium Sulphide (CdS) cell or photoresistor is a resistor whose value depends upon the incident light intensity. In darkness, the resistance of LDR becomes high and in light, the resistance gets low. The resistance variation phenomenon of LDR has been taken as a base for making circuits of LDR Engineering.
My question is that can wee use anything instead of light dependent resistor (LDR) ??..............etc
