ABSTRACT
The automatic street light controller is basically operated according with the light intensity. The simple concept about this operation is that, whenever there is less intensity of natural light (i.e. less than 1.5v) then the light gets automatically on. Similarly when the light intensity is high (i.e. 5v) then the light get automatically off.
This system consists of a microcontroller,
ADC converters, power supply, LCD display board, relay
Circuit and step down transformer. This system requires LCD interfacing program and ADC converting programs; here the software called keil is used in compiling the programs. The logic behind this automatic operation is that it compares the recorded light intensity with the specified value in the program and act like wise
This system has lot of advantages than the other systems; some of them are operation of the street light automatically with out the human interference. It has the better accuracy than the others because it deals with calculation of the light intensity.
