hello,i dig your web site while searching for polaris gearing calculator about atv,it is for a scrambler 400 1999 full build with heavy mods,
i work and fine tune those thing for 20 years,here is my question:through the years i've tried many,many gearing combo,since the first stock set til now with new smaller tires.
i use the 2001 2x4 tranny for my scrammy,i want to put best power to the rear wheels using the stock clutchs (only parts differents are aftermarket like,weights,springs,helix...)the 01 tranny doesn't have the same gear ratio inside like the old '96 were (1996 scrambler 400,my first one),it is geared lots slower cauze of the concentric drive system.
what do you think should be the best gears set for my application,quad is like lightened over 100 lbs lighter,run on 18'' maxxis rear tires and 20'' front maxxis tires.i would like to known where is the torque point with that tranny to transfer as much rear wheels hp,please let me known and thanks you very much for any infos.
