The purpose of this study is to offer simple and reliable technology to assess the position of metal oxide arrest based on dielectric reaction techniques. In this letter many modern electrical diagnostics have been discussed for the metal oxide arrest arrester (Moosa). The technique includes return voltage, decay voltage and polarization / nucleiation current measurements. Single and Multipals turned (8/20 / spl mu / s) was used to artificially degrade the Moosa, before and after the diagnostic results of new techniques, it is presented and interpreted. In the end, the relationship of various diagnostic results is discussed and compared to the existing techniques.
