AUTOMATIC RAIN OPERATED WIPER

The aim to design and develop a control system based on electronically controlled automotive rain operated motor is called “AUTOMATIC RAIN OPERATED WIPER”.
Rain operated motor consists of conduction sensor circuit, control unit, wiper motor and glass frame. The sensor is used to detect the rain or water flow. If there is any rain on the glass the sensor senses the rain or flow of water and gives control signal to the wiper motor.
INTRODUCTION
We have pleasure in introducing our new project “AUTOMATIC RAIN OPERATED WIPER”, which is fully equipped by sensor circuits and wiper motors. It is a genuine project which is fully equipped and designed for automobile vehicles.
This is an era of automation where it is broadly defined as replacement of manual efforts by mechanical power in all degrees of automation. The operation remains an essential part of the system all though with changing demands on physical input as the degree of mechanization is increased.
MAJOR COMPONENTS OF THE “AUTOMATIC RAIN OPERATED WIPER”
· Conductive sensors.
· Glass frame and supporting structure.

· Wiper motor and its arrangement.
· Relay.
ADVANTAGES

· Free from wear adjustment.

· Operating principle is very easy.

· It is possible to operate manually/automatically by providing On/Off switch.
· Sensor cost is very low due to the use of conductive sensor.

Rain and Fog operated motor consists of conduction sensors (Touch sensor and Fog Sensor) circuit, Control Unit, wiper motor and glass frame. The sensors is used to detect the fog and water flow. If there is any fog at interior on the glass, the sensor senses the fog and if rain flows on the exterior of the glass, the flow sensor sense flow of water and giving the control signal to the wiper motor and system starts working.

This wiper system reduce cumbersome wiper operation and improve driver’s level comfort.It will give a new dimension of comfort and aid to the drivers who work at night and traffic prone areas where they already have to concentrate on brakes and clutch.
