Cathode ray oscilloscope: Cross ray oscilloscope, ie CRO is an instrument used to test and observe the constantly changing signal voltages. Usually, it gives a two-dimensional frame of one or more parallel signals as a function of time. CRO device has many applications mainly in electronics and electric. The cathode ray oscilloscope has fast processing and traces the X-Y pattern at a very fast rate.In fact, the cathode ray oscilloscope is very fast X-Y plotters that can display an input signal as a function of time or other signal.
CRO Principle of operation
The construction of CRO consists of five divisions:
• Electron gun.
• Deviation plate system.
• Fluorescent display.
• Glass envelope.

The cathode ray oscilloscope is an instrument used in the laboratory to display measurements and analyse various wave forms of various electrical and electronic circuits. In fact, the cathode ray oscilloscope is a very fast X-Y plotter that can display an input signal as a function of time or other signal. The cathode ray oscilloscope uses a light spot that is produced by striking the electron beam and this light point moves in response to the variation in the input amount. At this point a question must arise in our mind that why are we using only a beam of electrons? The reason behind this is the low electron beam effects that can be used to track changes in the instantaneous values of the rapidly changing input amount. The general shapes of the cathode ray oscilloscope operate with voltages. So the input amount we talked about earlier is the voltage. Nowadays, with the help of transducers it is possible to convert various physical quantities such as current, pressure, acceleration etc to voltage, thus allowing us to have a visual representation of these various magnitudes in the cathode ray oscilloscope. Now let's look at the constructive details of the cathode ray oscilloscope.
