Geysers are an integral part of the house. They are used to heat the water.
Geyser works on the principle that electric energy is converted into thermal energy. The heating element is used to generate heat to heat the water. The heater and dipping bars have the same principle, but only the difference is of control and protections in geysers.
Geysers are of three types: -
1. Type of pressure
2. Type without pressure
3. Instant type geyser
1. Type of pressure Geysers: -
These types of geysers are usually kind of storage geysers. In these geysers they have a storage tank where the water is kept under pressure, this pressure allows the hot water to flow in faucets and showers at good flow.
In these geysers the cold water intake is maintained at the bottom of the geyser and the hot water outlet is maintained at the top of the geyser. Whenever there is need for hot water, hot water withdrawn also get displaced by cold water. Keeping cold water in the bottom of the geyser ensures that the geyser never drains and prevents heating element burning.
2. Geysers without pressure: -
These geysers are very similar to pressure type geysers with the only difference being that it has unique outlet that displaces hot water when the valve is opened in cold water. In these geysers the thermostat is installed in the water supply system.
3. Instant type geyser: -
These types of geysers are available in both pressure and non-pressure types. However, instant no-pressure geysers are the most commonly used. In these geysers the heating element is wired around the pipe. The heating element is used to heat the water that matches the flow rate. The heating element used in this type of geyser is of higher qualification. The material used for these geysers is durable material to ensure safety.
