Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd. (M & M Ltd.), India's leading SUV manufacturer has achieved a production milestone of 7 lac vehicles from its automotive plant in Haridwar, Uttaranchal. The Haridwar plant achieved this milestone in less than 10 years. The previous milestone of the plant production of 6 lacquer vehicles was reached in November 2014 and since then it has taken just ten months to reach the production mark of 7 lacquer vehicles.
Inaugurated in December 2005, the Haridwar plant currently manufactures the products Bolero, Scorpio S2, Gio (passenger and cargo), Alfa (passenger and cargo) and Champion of Mahindra products. During the last two years, the plant has earned the distinction of having one of the highest production capacities among other automotive plants in Mahindra. It is the only automotive plant of the company in North India.
