sms based voting system

A wide range of people through an SMS. This system is widely used in large-scale dance, singing, as well as other types of public voting competitions. Here we propose a system to handle this voting process using a microcontroller. Our system is designed to obtain votes cast using a GSM modem and transfer the data to a microcontroller for further processing. The votes cast by the user are received first by the gsm modem. This data together with the votes is sent to the microcontroller. The microcontroller now decodes the voting data. Only consider one vote for each unique phone number. Multiple voting is not allowed. The microcontroller counts each single vote and displays the results of the voting process on an LCD.
