It is a real-time monitoring system that allows parents to check the attendance and academic records of their pupil. It also helps college administrative staff maintain information related to students. It is a time-consuming task to verify each student's attendance to the parents. This project gives information to parents about their rooms such as attendance, notification of examination schedules. The mobile phone seems to be an asset to most individuals possessions, and take almost everywhere with them, therefore it is a very effective means of bringing information to them faster, easier and on the go.
Parents / caregivers of students in schools need a lot of information about their children, such as attendance, examination schedules, test results, notifications, details, and expiration dates for library books . Unfortunately, there are only two ways to get this information from parents / caregivers in the current situation of the day, or call the college administrative department or go to college personally to obtain that information. Both options are time consuming and cause unnecessary inconvenience to parents / caregivers. This project deals with the development of educational services based on the short message service (SMS). Here the student is informed about any information / notification via SMS. SMS software is proposed in this document. SMS is one of the most basic features and is provided on all mobile phones. It is also one of the easiest and fastest forms of communication. One study has revealed that a student's access to mobile phone technology is very high and therefore mobile phones present a very attractive option to facilitate communication between students and the Department. The study also shows that there are a number of advantages that derive from the use of SMS for communication. Students prefer SMS because it keeps them informed of what is happening at the University. Most students felt happy and connected to college. This shows that SMS communication is an effective way of communicating between educational institutes and their students.
