Introduction
1.1 General
The big problem of every community is to control both liquid and solid wastes. The liquid portion of the waste is basically the used up portion of water supplied to the community, duly been fouled and found as wastewater by variety of uses.
Thus wastewater may be considered to have been generated at different sources such as residences, institutions, commercials and industrial establishments together with a portion of ground water along water carrying wastes from such generations found in it.
If the above wastewater is allowed to remain stagnant shall result the following adverse effect to the environment.
Decomposition of stagnant organic material shall lead to the production of large quantity of odorous and pollutional gasses.
Stagnant waste containing toxic and hazardous ingredients may affect the ecosystem adversely.
Thus the main objectives of proper wastewater disposal are:
1. To protect public health.
2. To prevent adverse conditions caused by discharge of pollution to the environment.
3. To limit the disposal of waste onto land.
For safely disposal of waste water viz. industrial waste water and domestic waste water, we require to dispose the waste water carefully through a network of pipelines known as the sewer lines which carry the wastewater to the waste water treatment plant. These sewer lines are provided with specific discharge rates depending upon the population and utility of the particular region.
The 21st Century is called to be a computer Century. The computer is a device, which works accurately, fast & efficiently. Now due to computer the work done by hundred of people and taking months, is done in few minutes with accuracy, fast & efficiently.
1.2 Justification of problem
Computer can help us to design sewer system carrying wastewater with a computer program considering all the aspects to be considered while designing of sewer line network of a specific location. This helps in calculation of number of units provided area required, population density, demand (industrial demand), ground levels at every node and helps in estimation of final discharge to the wastewater treatment plant.
1.3 Objective of study
The design of sewer system Due to change in population and urbanization , increasing industrialization. Mostly for different areas difference in population and therefore we have to design according to population forecasting demand obtained. Therefore, it is convenient to use design data for designing the any system. The software such as Sewer Cad to design the wastewater carrying network. In this Project, I designing of wastewater carrying system of an industrial waste water area known as Chopanki which is mainly the Riico whole industrial area, district Bhiwadi (Rajasthan) has been discussed.
1.4 A brief overview of industrial estate of District Alwar
The Urban Agglomeration (UA) of Alwar is situated at the foothills of the Aravali Mountain series and is strategically located between the State capital of Jaipur and the National Capital of New Delhi. As per National Capital Region Planning Board’s (NCRPB) Regional Plan 2021, Alwar is identified as a regional center, which will be developed for advanced industrial and other economic activities and will have concentration of administrative and higher order service functions, expected to exert an increasingly dynamic influence on attracting investment and creating a conducive living and working environment.
