This PAO maintains the pay accounts and AFPP Fund accounts of Personnel below officer rank (PBOR) of the Defence Security Corps. This is largest PAO under Controller Of Defence Accounts, Chennai, dealing with more than 50,000 Individual Running Ledger Accounts (IRLAs).
The main functions of this PAO include:
--- Maintenance of pay accounts and AFPP fund accounts of PBOR
--- To ensure prompt settlement of pay and AFPP fund accounts of the personnel proceeding on discharge, issue of LPC cum data sheet in respect of PBOR becoming non effective, rendering of Abstract and Receipts charges for inclusion in All India compilation of accounts .
