AIM:
Main aim of this project is to realize a efficient way of monitoring and controlling actions happening in the power plant using supervisory control and data acquisition.

Description:
Temperature monitoring is important in every process that involves heat. Thermal power plant boiler, steam production process, milk pasteurization process, each requires real-time temperature monitoring to monitor the process. Abnormal condition such as overheating can occur anytime and lead to accidents, such as explosion or fire, even meltdown if a nuclear power plant cooling system overheats, which can be disastrous. With Our module includes detection of the short circuit and log into the server using wireless network based on tarang f4
temperature monitoring system, abnormal condition occurrence can be detected prior to accident and immediate action can be taken to prevent further damage. A temperature monitoring system may use ADC to digitalize the signal and serial (RS-232 ) communication as an interface with computer. To implement ADC or communication device, one may use microcontroller based device, which reduce hardware compactness and increase hardware cost.
1. Normal status: this status indicates that boiler is operating in range of its operating temperature.
2. Overheat status: this status indicates that boiler is operating above its operating temperature.
3. Low temperature: this status indicates that boiler is operating below its operating temperature.
Designed system is in laboratory scale with specifications:
a. Use of sound card as ADC and computer interface device.
b. module is designed with realterm software.
c. realterm displays measured temperature, status indicator, and temperature log over time.
d. Temperature transducer is modeled with a linear and calibrated LM35 temperature sensor.
e. Temperature parameters can be reset to suit temperature range of monitored operation.



SOFTWARE REQUIREMENT:
1. Code vision AVR
Compiler, Integrated development environment and in system programmer for Atmel AVR family of microcontrollers.
2. Embedded C
This is programming language used for embedded application This is modified C language in order to suit for Embedded Application development.
3. AVR studio
This is programming software used to load the program in to flash of the microcontroller.
4. Real term
It is general purpose serial capture software like HyperTerminal used to send and receive the data to and fro from microcontroller and computer.

HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS:

1. 7805 REGULATOR
To give 5V DC power supply
2. Tarang f4
2.4GHZ wireless transceiver
3. Buzzer
4. RELAYS
5. LM35
