SUMMARY

We use simple sheet metal cutting scissors. This manual method so that the sheet metal must be wasted that because error occurred, for example, the wrong size, etc., and even a simple cut can take a long time time.Hydraulic machines are also available for cutting sheet metal. But this method is only used for heavy metal and its cost is very high.We are using a pneumatic system for cutting sheet metal in an easy way. It is operated by pneumatic hand lever control valve in one of two ways.The Control valve is controlled by a compressor.


INTRODUCTION

TIN:
Sheet metal prostoa metal formed into thin and flat pieces. This is one of the fundamental forms used in metal working and can be cut and bent into a variety of different forms. Numerous household objects made of the material. The thickness can vary significantly, although extremely thin thickness are considered foil or sheet, and pieces thicker than 6 mm (0.25 inches) are considered plate.
Sheet metal is available in flat pieces or in the form of a coiled strip. Coils are formed by starting a continuous sheet of metal through the coil slitting.
The thickness of the sheet metal is called its calibration. Commonly used stainless steel sheet metal ranges from 30 caliber up to 8 gauge. The higher the number, the thinner gauge metal. The sensor is measured in ferrous (iron) metals, while non-ferrous metals, such as aluminum or copper are different; that is, Copper thickness measured ounce.
There are many different metals that can be made from metal sheeting, such asaluminium, brass, copper, steel, Tin, nickel and titanium. For decorative purposes, important sheet metals include silver, gold and Platinum (Platinum sheet metal is also used as a catalyst.)
Tin is also used in aircraft wings, bodywork, medical tables, roofs for buildings (architectural) and much more. Sheet metal of iron and other materials with high magnetic permeability, also known as laminated steel cores, has application in transformers and electrical machines. Historically, an important use of sheet metal in armour was worn by Cavalry, and sheet metal still has many decorative uses, including horse tack. Sheet metal workers, also known as "Tin Bashers", ("sheet metal hammers"), which is derived from STUK Panel seams at installation of tin roofs.
There are three main procedures in the Layout
1. Parallel
2. Radial
3. Triangulation


Sheet metal cutting:
Cutting processes in which a piece of sheet metal is separated by a large enough force to cause the failure of the material.
The most common methods of cutting is performed by applying a shear, and is therefore sometimes called shearing processes.
When the great enough shearing force is applied, the shear stress exceeds the material's shear and tensile strength material will not succeed, and separated by location.
This shearing force is applied two tools, one above and one below the sheet. Will these instrumentya punch and die or the upper and lower incisors, the above worksheet tool provides a rapid downward stroke on the sheet metal, which lies on the bottom of the tool.
There is a small gap between the edges of the upper and lower toolbar, making it easier to break the material. The size of this gap, usually 2-10% of the material thickness and depends on several factors, such as the particular process shift, material and sheet thickness.
Effects of shear on a material change as the cut progresses and are visible on the edge of the shear material. When punch or blade posledstviâthe sheet, the gap between the tools allows sheet plastic deformation and "rollover" edge. Pronikaetthe sheet tool more favorable location within close proximity, the shift results in a vertical dread pirate zone material.
Finally, the shear stress is too large, and the material fractures at an angle with a small burrs formed at the edge. The height of these areas cut depends on several factors, including the severity, toolset and the gap between the tools.
