The Kenyan police is a national enforcement body in Kenya. While being organized nationwide, each arm reports to a county police authority, which in turn splits its strength into local Police Divisions, headquartered in local police stations. All these elements are reported to the National Police Headquarters of Kenya in Nairobi, and various specialized elements, such as the Kenya Police College, are sent directly from here. An administration police service is sent with a hierarchy separate from that of the Kenyan national police. For other state security bodies see law enforcement in Kenya.
