National Capital Central (NCPS) O NTPC Dadri, is the energy project to meet the energy demand of the National Capital Region (India). It has a huge coal-fired power station and a gas plant and has a small municipality located in Uttar Pradesh, India for its employees. It is located in Gautam Budh Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh about 25 km from Ghaziabad and about 9 km from Dadri. It is about 48 km from New Delhi to Hapur. The municipality has an area of approximately 500 acres above all. NTPC Dadri is a branch of the National Thermal Energy Corporation, which is a public sector now. It is about 20 km from Ghaziabad via Badalpur, Mahawar, Bamabawar and Akilpur Jagir.
History and Features
NTPC Dadri plant and municipality are owned by ntpc ltd and were built around 1988-1990. The municipality is surrounded by border walls on all sides for security reasons. The neighboring villages that provide you with milk vegetables etc. Although the municipality has self-sufficient markets within it, residents usually go to Ghaziabad or Delhi for additional purchases. NTPC Dadri has two shopping centers (old and new) that meet the needs of employees and their families, as well as other people, and Silver Jubilee Park (formerly known as Central Park), a fountain park in front of the new market and Numerous small parks for children and employees for recreation. It also has a heliport for the small (though not well maintained) helicopter landing. There is a sports stadium on campus that is equipped with spotlights for day / night home tournaments.
NTPC Dadri has four schools within the residential municipality namely

Rachit within the municipality and are granted rooms by the administration of the municipality. Students come to study in these schools in cities such as Hapur and small towns like Dadri, Pilkhuwa and Dasna, and nearby villages such as Akilpur Jagir, Piyawali, Rasoolpur, Patadi, Nangla Gurjar, Chauna, Ooncha Gaon, Ranauli Latifpur and Bishara. Inside the campus there is a temple, a church and a Gurudwara and within the range of the municipality a mosque. It is a quiet place with lots of plants, trees and flowers. There are two clubs within the limit: VRC known as recreation center vidyut nagar and NTPC CLUB. There are two gyms with the latest machines. Also the club and VRC have pools, libraries, cafes, swings and other recreational features. There is an ET hostel where ETs (executive apprentices) are maintained for training in the nearby EDC (Employment Development Center). An Urja Bhavan and a VIP guest house is also available there. For employees there are govt rooms and depending on the designation they are divided into types a, b, c, d. The lowest designation employees who get 'a' type and so on until 'd' type in ascending order. The municipality has well paved roads and also recently the tata sky connection was provided in homes for all employees.
