Objective
The objective of the presentation is to understand the concept of energy, energy saving and how can we use the equipment so that energy can be saved
CONCEPT OF ENERGY
 Energy is the power to change things. It is the ability to do work.
 Energy helps us do things.
 It gives us light.
 It warms our bodies and homes.
 It bakes cakes and keeps milk cold.
 It runs our TVs and our cars .
 It makes us grow and move and think
 Energy means capacity of doing work to move the charge in conductor at a specified time.
VARIOUS HOME APPLIANCES WHICH CONSUME ENERGY
ENERGY SAVING IN HOME APPLIANCES
The various techniques to save energy in different home appliances is as follows:
Fans
• Replace conventional regulators with electronic regulators for ceiling fans
• Install exhaust fans at a higher elevation than ceiling fans
Electric iron
• Use appropriate regulator position for ironing
• Do not put more water on clothes while ironing
• Do not iron wet clothes
• Select iron boxes with automatic temperature cutoff
Computers
• Turn off your home office equipment when not in use. A computer that runs 24 hours a day, for instance, uses - more power than an energy-efficient refrigerator.
Refrigerator
• Don't keep your refrigerator or freezer too cold
Do not open the doors of the refrigerators frequently
Don't leave the fridge door open for longer than necessary, as cold air will escape.
SAVING MONEY
CONCLUSION
 As the life of man is nothing without electric energy
 So it is necessary to save the energy to save the money
 We should use the appreciate appliances at our home to save the energy
