INTRODUCTION:
FINGER PRINT BASED ELECTRONIC VOTING MACHINE
is used to find the yarn thickness, yarn status and settings.
OBJECTIVE OF THE PROJECT:
This project is designed for electronic voting machine by using the
finger print . Here voter does not have any ID cards only voters thumb impression is there.
SCOPE OF THE PROJECT:
This project can be implemented in the elections .Many malpractice or any security laps of the voters can be detected.
BRIEF METHODOLOGY:
Manual voting of the people is a difficult one. In order to monitor these facts automatically, this microcontroller based system is proposed to develop.
This project uses scanner , keypad, lcd display and six ledâ„¢s. Thumb impression is stored in the database. When the voter keeps his thumb in the scanner the system searches for the matches which is already fed. If it matches the PC shows the details of voters identity like photo, residential address etc. Then the PC sends the report which is connected serially to the microcontroller with a single beep buzzer sound and valid voter is displayed, at the same time in the LCD please poll your vote message is also displayed. . When voter presses the button a double beep sound is heard which indicates the vote is done. After the vote is finished in the LCD shows the message your vote is registered. If suppose an invalid voter or already voted person comes for voting booth and when his thumb impression is scanned, the PC sends a continuous beep sound to the microcontroller.
INTRODUCTION
Nowadays, providing preventive measures is one of the challenging matters in the world. Either it is a bank or institutions or home or real estates, the preventive measures is most important. Among the several field, providing the preventive measures system for voting are the tedious and expensive one. In order to provide the inexpensive solutions to the above, the Finger Print Based Electronic voting machine project is developed. This provides the security by means of finger prints which is stored already in the data base. Then the finger prints which is stored in the data base is checked .Only if both the persons and the voters finger print are the same then the voting machine is enabled . This finger print matching is done with the help of sensors. This matching is fed as an input to the Microcontroller. The Microcontroller process the signal and then enable the buzzer. Nowadays with the rise in population the need for checking the validity of the voters has become a problem. With the Micro controller based finger print technique the task looks much more simpler and also the accuracy is high. So this system provides the cost effective as well as reliable security for the users.

Fingerprint based attendance system
This project gives you a fingerprint based attendance system with 8051 microcontroller. The SM630 fingerprint module is used for fingerprint matching. It can store a max of 768 fingerprints. The admin can add/delete records from the PC through the VB application. There is an infrared LED and photo diode to sense the finger placed over the fingerprint module. All the attendance details are stored over the PC. The admin can generate reports and also he can print the reports.
Microcontroller based staff attendance system using finger print Synopsis
Basically attendance is manually done and record is maintained in files. Our main idea of approach is to reduce manual work and to automate the attendance system. It is a microcontroller based application consisting of mainly fingerprint scanner, lcd and various other features such as database maintenance in computer. As soon as the impression is given to the scanner, it cross checks it with the stored database and judgment is done by the module itself and result is sent to the microcontroller which then displays the result on the lcd screen and simultaneously updates the record maintained in the computer. Thumb impression module is the input device and microcontroller as main processing unit. Output devices are lcd and computer. Input is given through the finger scanner, input here is thumb imprint to the module, module converts it into digital data and sends it to host. Add, delete and acknowledge are the three commands which can be given to the module. Module responds to host accordingly, microcontroller on the either side would be interfaced with the computer. Database is maintained in the computer which is altered and updated by microcontroller. Microcontroller used is atmel 89s52, it is a low power high performance cmos 8 bit microcontroller with 8k bytes of flash programmable and erasable read only memory (eeprom). This is powerful microcontroller which provides a high flexible and cost effective solution to many embedded control applications. Sm630 background highlight optical fingerprint verification module is the latest release of miaxis biometrics co. , ltd. It consists of optical fingerprint sensor, high performance dsp processor and flash. It boasts of functions such as fingerprint login, fingerprint deletion, fingerprint verification, fingerprint upload, fingerprint download, etc.
