The purpose of this paper is to explain the design of an egg incubator system based on ATmega16 micro-controllers that is able to automatically maintain the environment that is optimal for embryo growth. The system has a temperature sensor that is able to monitor the temperature inside and outside the incubator and this data is sent to a micro-controller. The micro-controller, using relays, controls an incandescent lamp and a circulating fan to keep the egg temperature from 37 to 38.5 ° C. In addition, an LCD display is used to display the temperature inside and outside the incubator. The micro-controller also has a timer programmed by the user to control a gear motor to tilt the carrier. Candling refers to the process of transluminating an egg with light to determine the presence or absence of a viable embryo or to look for shell defects. Egg candle during incubation a useful tool for quality assurance and determination of poor hatches. Other important parameters during the incubation process are incubator temperature, humidity, shell quality and loss of moisture from the egg. The arteries of the extra embryonic circulation are distributed evenly through the egg incubating structure. This provides the means for detecting the change in blood flow photoelectrically, thereby providing a means through which the heartbeat of the embryonic heart can be detected. To determine the life in an incubator embryo, relatively intense white light is passed through the partially incubated eggs. This process is called candle and the time that is made depends on the type of egg under incubation. For example, chicken eggs, pheasant, partridge and quail should be calcined after 5 to 7 days of incubation. Turkey, duck and goose eggs should be lit after 8 to 10 days of incubation due to their longer incubation periods. The embryo at this stage of incubation is about the size of a dime and appears as a small bubble floating on the surface of the yolk.
