In addition to these factors are the decrease in costs and prices of solar modules, increased efficiency of solar cells, the manufacture of technological improvements and economies of scale. Photovoltaic modules are interconnected sets of photovoltaic cells (solar cells) packaged in an airtight housing. The modules are rated and called by their power measured according to standard factory controlled test conditions (STC equals 1000 W / m2 at 25 ° C and 1.5 atm). In addition, each module has a maximum voltage (Voc) and a current (Isc). These features are used by solar designers to create an efficient photovoltaic system.
