The digital vocalizer is a project of social purpose. This is to try to implement a system that bridges communication between deaf peoples and hearing people as less as possible. Deaf people make use of sign language or gestures to make them understand what he / she is trying to say, but it is impossible to understand by hearing people. To make a simple prototype by taking some of those gestures and convert it into audio and visual form so that they can understand by all. For that we are making use of arduino ONE Board as Atmega 328 board controller for the interface of all sensors and actuators.
Basically an Artificial Neural Network is the concept of our prototype. Some sensors are placed on the hand of deaf persons which converts the parameter as hand hand angle of hand folding into electrical signal and provides it to the Atmega 328 controller and the controller takes action according to the sample.
Advantages of innovation
1. It is a social cause project
2. Deaf people can easily communicate with normal people
3. Easy to implement
4. Easy to make changing of sensor windows according to hand using
5. Portable design works on small 9V radio battery
6. Audio and visual output
Limitations of innovations
1. Currently, due to the cost of the sensors and the limitation of funds, we choose limited gestures that can be performed by a single hand
