Abstract

In foam extrusion, material density is the most significant factor affecting the product cost and therefore the profitability of the manufacturing process. A reduction in the density of extruded parts reduces the raw material cost and therefore increases its profitability. On the other hand, a reduction in foam density degrades the mechanical properties and geometrical accuracy of extruded parts. Therefore, a critical balance has always to be achieved in order to minimize the material cost while maintaining adequate strength and acc ....etc

Introduction
A motion detector is an electronic device that detects the physical movement in a given area and transforms motion into an electric signal. The motion detector may be electrically connected to devices such as security, lighting, audio alarms, and the like. Motion sensors are used in a wide variety of applications and as a result many different types of motion sensors are available. Motion detectors are mainly used in for security systems. For example, motion detectors are typically positioned near exter ....etc

ABSTRACT
This paper presents a new measure of heart rate variability (HRV) that can be estimated using Doppler ultrasound techniques and is robust to variations in the angle of incidence of the ultrasound beam and the measurement noise. This measure employs the multiple signal characterization (MUSIC) algorithm which is a high-resolution method for estimating the frequencies of sinusoidal signals embedded in white noise from short-duration measurements. We show that the product of the square root of the estimated signal-to-noise ratio ....etc

Abstract:
Ultrasound Identification is a Real Time Locating System (RTLS) is used to automatically track and identify the location of objects using simple inexpensive nodes (badges/tags) attached to or embedded in objects and devices which then transmit an ultrasound signal to communicate their location to microphone sensors.Ultrasound-based IPS is considered a better alternative to passive Radio-frequency identification (pRFID) in complex indoor environments (such as hospitals), where radio waves may reflect off of metallic or ceramic object ....etc

OBJECTIVE:
In order to prevent thrombogenesis in the artifical heart, a prototype ultrasound thrombolysis system is developed.
Thrombus formation in artificial hearts remains a key risk factor in the death of patients. So, the system is assumed to work continously, dissolving micro thrombi before they can grow.
The purpose of this study is to develop the system that can be mounted in the artificial heart.

Introduction:
Patients requi ....etc

Ultrasound Usage in Mobility Aid Systems

The mobility aid system works on the simple principle of reflection of sound waves from the obstacle or an object. For this set up, the system has a simple battery operated circuit, acting as an oscillator producing the required 40 KHz frequency for the operation of the ultrasound generator. The ultrasound generator generates sound waves, which are higher in frequency than the human audible range . Thus gen ....etc
