This seminar presents the manufacturing processes of thermoplastic structures including piezoceramic patches (PZT). The objective of the study reported here was to find a trade-off between the manufacturing conditions and the thermal endurance of the PZT patches. We studied the influence of high temperatures on the PZT efficiency during manufacturing. Two processes were considered: injection molding and thermoforming. The basic energy cycle involved in the plant is as follows :

Chemical Energy ---> Mechanical Energy ---> Electrical Energy

Turbine converts the heat energy of the steam into mechanical energy.

The super heated steam works on the blades of the turbine and hence the blades starts rotating to produce the mechanical energy.
