Due to limited costs, they are an Effective solution to provide wireless Internet access to nomadic users A key point to exploit The potentialities of Wi-Fi hotspots is managing the scarce energetic resources of mobile Devices. Abstract

Intelligent Energy Saving System can be used in places like where lighting is very important. The libraries will be well illuminated with many lamps. When people are not present at a reading place the lighting can be made OFF and when they are present, the lighting made ON. All these can be done through by Dimming circuit and PIR sensor.

Present project is designed using AT89S52 microcontroller to count the number of person present in the room and to save the energy used by the appliances. The project utilizes the IL74 optocoupler which is used to detect the visitors.
