This project introduce application of the Wavelet transform in medical image fusion. In medical image fusion, multiple medical images, such as computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance (MR) images are fused into a new image to improve the information content for diagnoses. Some attempts have been proposed for the fusion of MR and CT images using the wavelet transform.
