This paper proposes a novel feature extractionscheme for audio fingerprinting using discretewavelet transform (DWT). The proposed schemereduces the granularity, i.e., the minimal length ofaudio, needed for identification in an audiofingerprinting system. This project introduce application of the Wavelet transform in medical image fusion. In medical image fusion, multiple medical images, such as computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance (MR) images are fused into a new image to improve the information content for diagnoses.
