Robust RBFN Control for Linear InductionMotor Drive Using FPGA
An FPGA based radial basis function network(RBFN) is presented here which is used to control the mover position of a Linear induction motor(LIM). First, an indirect field-oriented mechanism is tried for the purpose of speed control of a LIM. Then a sliding-mode control is designed in which a a conservative constant lumps up the uncertainities.
