Dear Sir,

Few months ago the packing material in our packed column got burnt completely and upon an investigative report on the issue, its recommeded to use potassium permanganate to wash the column. The procedure to follow using the potassium permanganate solution is what i need to wash out pyrophoric material in a packed column.

1. Abstract
Biogas is a clean environment friendly fuel. Raw biogas contains about 55–65% methane (CH4), 30–45% carbon dioxide (CO2), traces of hydrogen sulfide (H2S) and fractions of water vapors. Presently, it can be used only at the place where it is produced. There is a great need to make biogas transportable.
