Introduction

In this documentation we refer to the realization of a Multi Touch Table in the winter
semester 08/09. The general basis for our documentation was the hardware documentation
of the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland – School
of Engineering. This document serves as a supplementation for the mentioned documentation
and shall not substitute it. That’s why we apply to particular hardware

An ideal artificial hand should match the requirements of prosthetics and humanoid robotics.

It can be wearable by the user which means that it can be perceived as part of the natural body and should replicate sensory-motor capabilities of the natural hand. However ,such an ideal bionic prosthesis is still far from reality.

This paper describes the design and fabrication of a novel artificial hand based on a biomechatronic and cybernetic approach. The approach is aimed at providing natural sensory-motor co-ordination, biomimetic mechanis ....etc

ABSTRACT
Natural user interfaces (NUI) such as multitouch and surface computing are positioned as the next major evolution in computing and user interfaces. Just graphical user interfaces (GUIs) brought unprecedented interaction capabilities to their command-line predecessors, multitouch and surface computing will spawn novel ways to interact with media and improve social usage patterns.
