ABSTRACT
Internet Protocol version 4 uses a 32 bit IP address. In theory ,a 32 bit address space should provide addresses for more than four billion computers, but inefficiencies in address allocation mean that less than half of the addresses are used. The result is so called-'Mnternet address crisis-there! are more computers than usable addresses Therefore permanent IP addresses have become expensive.
