If you are using transistors to interface to the outside world you may find FETs simpler, easier and better!The traditional interfacing 'standard component' has always been the transistor. In this paper, a new complementary gate driver for power metal-oxide semiconductor field-effect transistors and in sulated gate bipolar transistors is presented based on the use of a piezoelectric transformer (PT).
