The objective of the application is to provide an integrated-development environment comprising of editing, compiling and debugging tools for C-C++ programs on UNIX platform. The project will have a user-friendly GUI which can be run from windows desktop. The project shall support source- file editing and save changes to the UNIX system via FTP connection. Abstract
This is a LAN Messenger designed to function in a heterogeneous network containing mainly machine running on windows-based and Linux-based machines on which the Java Virtual Machine( JVM) is running. The main reason for taking up such a project was the lack of a simple LAN Messenger which works in a heterogeneous network.
