锘縄'm not too sure how cooling the rest of the mobo comes into play. I originally purchased my current SI128 for that purpose, but after playing briefly with an Ultra120 (nonultra), couldn't see any real difference in temps other than the cpu temp. For what it's worth, I'm back to my SI128..

Infrared thermography has evolved into one of the most valuable diagnostic tools for Predictive Maintenance of electrical equipment from reliability and safety point of view. By detecting anomalies often invisible to the naked eye, thermography allows corrective action to be taken before costly system failures occur or where safety of man and machine are at stake.
