Abstract
This paper describes Grasshopper, an operating system designed to provide generic mechanisms capable of being tailored to support a wide range of persistence paradigms. A constraint placed on this design is that the system must be implementable on conventional architectures which support paged virtual memory. In this paper the basic system abstractions relating to addressing environments, processes, and protection are described. It is shown that these provide explicit support for distributed persistent objects and processes, stabilit ....etc

Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) are available from a wide range of sources. A relative newcomer to the RTOS arena is the Embedded Configurable Operating System or eCos.
eCos is a excellent real-time performance, low latency and deterministic behavior make eCos a viable solution in many demanding signal processing applications. A layered architecture encourages portability and code reuse.

DIGITAL BIKE OPERATING SYSTEM SANS KEY

ABSTRACT :

Now a days consumer products like washing machine, microwave oven, and

cellphone to industries digital technology plays a major role. But we

have not yet used this technology in bikes. What my idea of making u se

of this tech. in bikes is a complete digital bike operating system sans

key. According to my invention key is not required to operate a bike

(The operation includes starting & locking the bike, fuel tank cap

The idea behind eyeOS is that the whole system lives in the web browser. The client must have only a web browser to work with eyeOS and all its applications, including Office and PIM ones. This applies to for both modern and obsolete PC's An Open Source Platform designed to hold a wide variety of Web Applications. eyeOS was thought of as a new definition of an Operating System, where everything inside it can be accessed from everywhere inside a Network. All you need to do is login into your eyeOS server with a normal Internet Browser ....etc
