VHDL
VHDL code is used to describe the required behavior of the digital circuit. The VHDL
description will then be synthesized by the software tools for the purpose of hardware implementation and also the description can be simulated on the computer for the purpose of testing and verifying. This paper presents a new design and implementation of HDD (Hard Disk Drive) embedded DSR (Digital Satellite Receiver). The digital broadcasting technology enables multimedia access via broadcasting system. The amount of digital data to be processed is increased as compared to the previous broadcasting environment. This project is mainly focused on designing an intelligent refrigerator which finds out the stock of the material present in it and then automatically places order for the nearest online shop via internet using IEEE 802.3U technology, if the stock is below threshold. This system uses few sensors that monitors the stock level of the items in the fridge.
