What is Pyrophoric Iron Oxidation?
The word pyrophoric is derived from the Greek for
fire-bearing. According to Webster's dictionary,
pyrophoric material means any material igniting
spontaneously or burning spontaneously in air when
rubbed, scratched, or struck, e.g. finely divided
metals. Iron sulfide is one such pyrophoric material
that oxidizes exothermically when exposed to air. It

WHAT IS IT..????
It is a graphical plot between the different temperatures, Carbon content and phases of iron.
It is known as equilibrium diagram because the state of the system remains constant over a period of time
To produce the diagram or the graphical plot a series of cooling and heating curves of Iron with varying Carbon content was obtained.
Then the critical points of the cooling and heating curve were plotted on a temperature vs C content plot and thus the Iron carb..............etc

Abstract
The influence of the diesel particulate filter additives (DPA) SATACEN and EOLYS on biodiesel fuel quality has been evaluated. Both additives significantly affected the oxidation stability of neat biodiesel. The influence on acid values and CFPP was found to be only small. Combination of diesel additives with biodiesel additives like oxidation stability and CFPP improvers led to similar results. Here is a simple but inexpensive inverter for using a small soldering iron (25W, 35W, etc) in the absence of mains supply. It uses eight transistors and a few resistors and capacitors.
