CLAP SWITCH


General Description
This is a circuit that can be used to turn a device on
and off by sound only, hand clapping, whistling etc.
Can be used to turn the lights on and off, in security
systems. When triggered the circuit will stay in the
on or off condition till it is triggered again.

Abstract

This paper presents the design of a clap activated switch device that will serve well in different phono-controlled applications, providing inexpensive key and at the same time flee from false triggering. This involves the design of various sages consisting of the pickup transducer, low frequency, audio low power and low noise amplifier, timer, bistable and switches. CLAP SWITCH


Here’s a clap switch free from false
triggering. To turn on/off any ap
pliance, you just have to clap
twice. The cir-cuit changes its output state
only when you clap twice within the set
time period. Here, you’ve to clap within 3
seconds.
The clap sound sensed by condenser
microphone is amplified by transistor T1.
The amplified signal provides negative pulse
to pin 2 of IC1 and IC2, triggering both the

CLAP SWITCH THEORY
Here is a circuit for electronics hobbyists that can switch on & off a light, Fan, Radio etc. by the sound of clap.The sound of clap is received by a small microphone that is shown biased by resistor R1 in the circuit. The microphone changes sound wave in to electrical wave which is further amplified by Q1. Transistor Q1 is used as common emitter circuit to amplify weak signals received by the microphone. this is prashant,btech ece(2nd year). I hv 2 submit a project& the project name is clap switch. i have a problem for makin report & how i would make on pcb 2 get neat &clean diagram. i hv ckt diagram also& i hv done on bread board. in the ckt 3 transistor,2 led &capacitor, resistor used.when i go for pcb it look sm complicate. so can u plz help me 2 get simple diagram on pcb.
