Exam Timing Automation with Voice Indication
Description:
In real life, especially in our country India, it is commonly observed that the time in two watches have a difference of a minute or two. This leads to inconsistent time calculations. During the exams, the inconsistency in time creates a little frustration among students. Additionally, most of the times, students loose a track of time while attempting difficult questions, and when exam time is over, then it realized that time is finished, but the paper is not! In order to reduce such errors, the project “Exam Time Automation with Voice Indication” is designed. This project can be connected to PC and hence the Exam Times can be downloaded into the microcontroller via serial communication. The microcontroller then keeps a track of time using the Real Time Clock connected to it. As soon as predefined time is reached, A voice message is played using sound recorder IC indicating how much time is remaining for the exam. An appropriate voice message is played at different intervals of time as pre programmed. Hence the Voice message saying, e.g. “30 minutes remaining for end of Exam” makes sense to us what is happening. Also, the current time is displayed on the LCD connected to the microcontroller.
