My dear friends, the main guests and the dignitaries have arrived here. In two minutes of time they will enter. Therefore I ask you to shut up.
Please stand up and welcome the dignitaries with a rhythmic applause.

A warm welcome to all and cordial welcome to twenty seconds Venerable P. Memories of Zacharias.
I wish you today and tomorrow to be an expedition to the spiritual wealth and valuable contributions of the Venerable Fr. Zacharias OCD and an exploration of Indian Christian theology and philosophy.
Sentence
Once a wise man asked why we have so many churches if God is everywhere?
An ordinary man replied that the air is everywhere but we still need a fan to feel it.
Hearts raised their ears tuned to the sacred melody, let us remain for prayer. I can invite the Mangalappuzha choir to address us in prayer.

For his Beatitude George George Cardenal Alenchery every visit to this campus would be a homecoming. We have the privilege of having His Beatitude among us. I can invite Beatitud with due respect to turn on the lamp and declare the lectures open by offering the inaugural address.
