The project proposes a real life application of Speech Recognition and Synthesis technologies. The application uses command and control to be operated. The user speaks out voice commands to perform functions like clicking a button, selecting items in lists and various other functions.
The application has been configured to be speaker-independent i.e. it is not user specific. There is no need to train the system; any common user knowing English language with adequate and acceptable pronunciation skills can easily use the software.
