Currently almost the public having a vehicle of its own, theft is occurring in the parking lot and sometimes driving places of insecurity. Vehicle safety is extremely essential for public vehicles. Tracking and locking system of the vehicle installed in the vehicle, to track the site and block the engine. The location of the vehicle identified by the Global Positioning System (GPS) and the Global System Mobile Communication (GSM). These systems constantly monitor a moving vehicle and report the state on demand. When the theft identified, the responsible person send SMS to the microcontroller, then the microcontroller issue the control signals to stop the engine motor. The authorized person needs to send the password to the driver to restart the vehicle and open the door. This is more secure, reliable and inexpensive.
For example vehicle tracking, child tracking, tracking of any equipment, fleet management, etc. An efficient vehicle tracking system is implemented to monitor the movement of any equipped vehicle from anywhere at any time. With the help of the global positioning system (GPS), the global mobile communications system (GSM) and the microcontroller are integrated with the aim of enabling users to locate their vehicles easily and conveniently. This system provides the user with the possibility to remotely track his vehicle through the mobile network.
The data is sent to a microcontroller connected to a Gsm modem.
The microntroller acts as the control head of the system. It receives data from the GPS modem and constantly sends over the length and latitude data to the user via sms through the GSM modem from time to time according to the interval limit set by the user.
This system will help transport and travel companies to track their vehicles. They also receive the regular status of the vehicles. The system can be further improved by adding a gui for tracking as well as allowing the driver to remotely stop the vehicle's engine.
