Abstract

The detection and elimination of shadows is an important task when it comes to images of color structures. The shadows will generate light fall on the object. Because the shaded region changes during the day according to the position of the sun and the sky falls on the structures. The shadows decrease in the light that reaches a surface area. The shadow area is detected and the segmentation is based on the process of image analysis. Some noise factors will affect the detection result due to the complexity of the condition. the image of the charged primary color component of the shadow and the salt and pepper noise is removed from the harmonic counter filter and the average color is calculated and the shadow can be detected by using the binary and morphological function. And the hypothesis test to detect shadows of the images and then the concept of energy function is used to eliminate the shadow of the image.
