The objective of the given program is to detect objects of interest (Car) in video frames and continue tracking the same object. This is an example of how to detect vehicles in Python.
Vehicle Detection
The astonishing losses in human and financial lives caused by vehicle accidents.
Detection of vehicles in images acquired from a mobile platform is a difficult problem.
Steps to download the requirements below:
Download version of Python 2.7.x, numpy and OpenCV version.Check if your 32-bit or 64-bit Windows is compatible and install accordingly.
Sudo apt-get install python
Pip install numpy
install OpenCV from here
Make sure numpy is running in your python and then try to install opencv.
Place the cars.xml file in the same folder. Save this as an .xml file.
