ABSTRACT

The year 2008 will probably known as the year of ultra mobile PCs with a slew of Ultra Mobile PCs being released by different companies. Ultra mobile PC promises to support wired or wireless network to which is a major plus as gives a number of options for net connection along with mobility. On the specification side the device sports s 7 inch LCD screen with a resolution is adequate for running applications. The screen is flanked b stereo speakers and top of the frame houses a webcam. The one is all set for mobile video conferencing. The keyboard is of the standard type including the functional keys to control volume, brightness, Wi-Fi and power. There is a track pad below the keyboard with two buttons. Pressing both simultaneously is the equivalent of middle click. The sides of the device present a number of options for connecting peripherals. It has the standard head phone and mike sockets and a VGA video output port.
